How far am I from the ocean? I live in Portland, about an hour and a half drive from the coast. The beach may not be nearby, but I’ve realized the ocean is always close, closer than we think. It’s in every other breath we take and in many of the products we use each day

 

The opportunities to make a difference are also closer than we think. They are in the choices we make every day that build our relationship with the ocean

I’ve always felt a deep connection to Nature, especially the ocean. In my work in communications for a technology company, I’ve seen how innovation can help address some of the world’s biggest challenges and how ideas can grow or stall depending on how they are communicated
